Pottery Painting Rental Kits

Decide which size rental kit you need. We have two rental kits available: a kit for 5 or fewer pieces ($30 rental fee), and a kit for 6 or more pieces ($60 rental fee). Rental fees are nonrefundable. Rental kits include all the supplies you need for painting at home. Pottery pieces are purchased separately. You'll come into the studio to choose your pieces, pay for your pieces, and pay your rental fee. 

Send an email to hello@kilnfolkclay.com to let us know which kit you're interested, as well as a general idea of the pieces you're looking to paint. Our studio staff will then start getting your rental kit ready for you!

Once you've received a response from us to your initial email, you'll come in to the studio anytime during our open business hours to pick out & pay for your pieces, sign our rental contract, pay your rental kit fee, and pick up your kit, which includes all needed supplies:

• Cups for water

• 12 colors of paint & disposable paint palettes

• Instructional & reference sheets

Our studio staff will wrap up your pieces and place them in your rental kit (a hard-sided tote bag) so they stay safe and protected during their travels. Happy painting!

You are able to keep your kit for up to one week. Once you're done painting your pieces, repackage them with the material used when you received them and place them back in the tote along with all supplies. Return the kit and all pieces to Kilnfolk anytime during business hours. 

All supplies from the rental kit must be returned before our staff can fire your pieces. If all supplies are returned in clean and undamaged condition, you will receive a coupon for $15 or $30 off any future class at Kilnfolk (dependent on the size of kit you rented).

Our staff will take it from here! You will be notified via email in 3-4 weeks when your pieces are fired and ready for pickup.
