Service Description

Host your party at our beautiful studio! We have a lovely family-style table to gather around and enjoy quality time painting pottery together. This is a party reservation fee for groups over 6 people during business hours (you do not need reservations for groups of 6 or fewer). We are able to accommodate 14 painters and a maximum of two extra chaperones-- so please inform parents to drop kids off and come back at the appropriate time as we don't have seating for more than 16 people. Additional cost depends on the pottery chosen to paint at the event. Our pottery is priced all-inclusive of paint, clear glaze care and firing. The average cost per piece of pottery is $24 and we have a wide range from $9 to over $40 per piece depending on the complexity and size of the chosen pottery. If you'd like to book an early morning or after-hours private party, parties before 11am and after 6pm have an $80 reservation fee. We can accommodate additional painters during these times. Cancellation Policy

For a full refund or free rescheduling, you must notify us 7 days before your scheduled class/activity. Within 7 days of your class there is no refund but you can choose to reschedule within the first five days of that week prior to your class and must pay 20% of the class price to reschedule. There will be NO reschedule/cancellation for any reason within 48 hours of the class, and no refund will be offered. Any refund offered will be subject to a 4% processing fee. We have this policy in place to protect our employees and artists who are booked specifically for this event, and also other customers who might have had a chance to book if the seat was available. Please understand we are a small service based business and lots of planning and supplies go into making these classes possible. Please be aware this is one of the most generous cancellation and rescheduling policies in our industry, and please don't give our staff a hard time for adhering to it- they are just doing their job. Use of the studio indicates you agree that you will not hold the studio, its volunteers, or any other person associated with the studio responsible for work that is damaged or defective in any way while in the studio at any stage of the process. While working with clay is relatively safe, there are hazards and risks. These risks include the possibility of injuries or illness related to the use of the studio, materials, or equipment. Use of the studio indicates you agree that you have been informed of the risks and have signed the Kilnfolk waiver.
