Open Studio Time
Sign up for a three-hour block of time at the studio to practice what you're learning!

Open studio is available to sign up by multi-week students and day pass holders. Sessions are three hours long and non-transferrable. The time listed is the start time of the three hour block you are reserving- you do not have to come for the whole time, but your time ends at the specified time listed. Open Studio times are as follows: -11:15am-2:15pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays -3:00pm-6:00pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays* -5:00pm-8:00pm on Wednesdays *Please note that the Sunday open studio time overlaps a little bit with our Family Handbuilding class (2:30-4pm). The wheels will still be open, but the hand building table may be a bit crowded until that class is over.
For a full refund, you must cancel your booking 7 days before your scheduled class/activity. If you need to reschedule within 7 days, we will charge a 20% fee, however there will be NO rescheduling for any reason within 48 hours of the class, and no refund will be offered. Any refund offered will be subject to a 3.7% processing fee. We have this policy in place to protect our employees and artists who are booked specifically for this event, and also other customers who might have had a chance to book if the seat was available. Please understand we are a small service based business and lots of planning and supplies go into making these classes possible. Please be aware this is one of the most generous cancellation and rescheduling policies in our industry, and please don't give our staff a hard time for adhering to it- they are just doing their job. While working with clay is relatively safe, there are hazards and risks. These risks include the possibility of injuries or illness related to the use of the studio, materials, or equipment. Use of the studio indicates you agree that you have been informed of the risks and have signed the Kilnfolk waiver.
If you are signing up for a multi-week or workshop that includes open studio time please click below to create an account on our website. Be sure to use the email that you used to book your class. You then will be able to access the Open Studio Sign Up Page under Memberships. Each open studio session is just a start time and is good for up to 3 hours. Open studio time must be used in one day and cannot be split between multiple days. Multi-Week open studio sessions do not roll over and must be used in the week they are allotted.
