Service Description

The sun is out, which means it's time for iced drinks! Our popular cozy mug class is changing a bit for the spring & summer months- during this 1.5 hour workshop, you'll get to choose between crafting a traditional mug or a travel tumbler! Whether you're a seasoned artist, or just touching clay for the first time, this workshop is designed for every skill level (ages 8+ recommended). Under the guidance of one of our experienced instructors, you'll be supported through the process of building a functional mug or tumbler that you can use all year long. From building your piece using rolled slabs, securing a handle or tumbler top, to adding decorations with various stamps and pattern tools, you'll come away with a creation that reflects your unique style. Bring a friend or family member for creative time in the studio together! After the workshop, we'll take care of the kiln firing process. You'll return in a few weeks to pick up your completed mug, fired with a single color glaze of your choice. Custom glazing is available if desired at an additional cost. Dress comfortably. We recommend wearing clothes that you don't mind getting a little messy. We'll provide the aprons and the fun! Workshop Details: -Multiple Dates & Times Available: Sunday May 19th, 2:30-4:00pm.
