Service Description

Our popular Berry Bowls workshop from last year is back! Spring is here, Summer is on it's way, and so are those yummy berries! Join an upcoming 1.5 hour class session to learn the basics of hand-building a mini colander from wet clay. Your instructor will guide you through each step, helping you bring to life your version of a berry bowl! Multiple dates are available for this class- Saturday May 18th at 10am, Wednesday May 22nd at 6pm, and Wednesday May 29th at 6pm. This event is beginner friendly, great for the family, girls' night out, or for a date night. Once your bowl is sculpted, we will fire and glaze your piece with the color of your choice and it will be ready for pick up three weeks after the workshop. Custom glazing is available if desired at an additional cost- ask your instructor at the workshop if you're interested! Workshop Details: -Date & Time: Saturday May 18th 10:00-11:30am, Wednesday May 22nd 6:00-7:30pm, and Wednesday May 29th 6:00-7:30pm. -Price: $55 per person -What's Included: A 1.5 hour guided workshop where you will hand-build a small berry colander which will be ready for pickup a few weeks after the workshop. -Location: Kilnfolk Clay Studio, 108 W 6th Street, Vancouver, WA 98660 Metered street parking downtown, or secure parking is available right down the street in the Lot #18 Park 'n Go Vancouver Center Garage. Street parking is free after 6pm and on weekends! -Attire: Dress ready to play with clay and get a little messy! Please read below for our cancellation policy and disclaimer.


Cancellation Policy

For a full refund or free rescheduling, you must notify us 7 days before your scheduled class/activity. Within 7 days of your class there is no refund but you can choose to reschedule within the first five days of that week prior to your class and must pay 20% of the class price to reschedule. There will be NO reschedule/cancellation for any reason within 48 hours of the class, and no refund will be offered. Any refund offered will be subject to a 4% processing fee. We have this policy in place to protect our employees and artists who are booked specifically for this event, and also other customers who might have had a chance to book if the seat was available. Please understand we are a small service based business and lots of planning and supplies go into making these classes possible. Please be aware this is one of the most generous cancellation and rescheduling policies in our industry, and please don't give our staff a hard time for adhering to it- they are just doing their job. Attention Students!

If you are signing up for a multi-week or workshop that includes open studio time please click below to create an account on our website. Be sure to use the email that you used to book your class. You then will be able to access the Open Studio Sign Up Page under Memberships. Each open studio session is just a start time and is good for up to 3 hours. Open studio time must be used in one day and cannot be split between multiple days. Multi-Week open studio sessions do not roll over and must be used in the week they are allotted.
