Service Description

Spring is FINALLY here- celebrate by stretching your creative muscles! Join us in the studio for a 1.5 workshop where you'll hand-build a bud vase (around 6 inches), perfect for those sweet little spring wildflower arrangements- we'd suggest picking some up from the Vancouver Farmer's Market just down the street! This workshop is made for all skill levels – absolute beginners, you're more than welcome! Recommended for ages 8 and above. One of Kilnfolk's studio instructors will walk you through the process of building your vase to form a sphere for the base structure, and adding surface decoration to make it your own. After the workshop, we'll take care of the kiln firing process. You'll return in a few weeks to pick up your completed vase, fired with a single color glaze of your choice. Custom glazing is available if desired at an additional cost- ask your instructor at the workshop if you're interested! Dress comfortably. We recommend wearing clothes that you don't mind getting a little messy- it's all part of the fun!
