Craft, sip, and unwind during our series of summer clay classes at Burnt Bridge Cellars!
Service Description
Savor leisurely summer afternoons at Burnt Bridge Cellars with a series of clay handbuilding classes! From 2:30pm to 4:30pm on the first Thursday of June, July, and August, join us on the patio for a beginner-friendly workshop led by Kilnfolk. Craft a simple ceramic project (get as creative as you'd like!), then relax with wine and friends amid the tranquil summer atmosphere. Projects are different each month, listed below. Please ensure you're registering for the date of the project you'd like! -June 5th: Trinket Dishes -July 3rd: Mugs -August 7th: Bud Vases In addition to the clay class, your ticket to this event includes one glass of wine, as well as an event-exclusive discount on additional pours ($12 for red wine, $10 for white wine, and $5 for beer). After each workshop, Kilnfolk will collect and bisque fire your piece, as well as glaze it to one color of your choice. You will be contacted in a few weeks when your piece is ready to pick up at Kilnfolk Clay Studio. You can also return to Kilnfolk after your piece has been bisque fired for custom glazing with our paint-your-own pottery glazes at an additional cost- just ask your instructor after class! Workshop Details: -Multiple Dates & Times available: Thursday June 5th, 2:30-4:30pm (trinket dishes), Thursday July 3rd, 2:30-4:30pm (mugs), and Thursday August 7th, 2:30-4:30pm (bud vases). Please arrive on time as instruction will take place at the beginning of the event. -Location: Burnt Bridge Cellars, 1500 Broadway St, Vancouver WA 98663 -Price: $70 per person, includes the clay class with guided instruction and one glass of wine. Additional pours will be purchased separately at the event with an exclusive event discount. -What's Included: 1 hour of guided instruction (at the beginning of the event), and one single color glazed and fired ceramic trinket dish to be picked up a few weeks after the workshop. -Attire: Dress comfortably and be prepared to get your hands dirty! Cancellation Policy
For a full refund or free rescheduling, you must notify us 7 days before your scheduled class/activity. Within 7 days of your class there is no refund but you can choose to reschedule within the first five days of that week prior to your class and must pay 20% of the class price to reschedule. There will be NO reschedule/cancellation for any reason within 48 hours of the class, and no refund will be offered. Any refund offered will be subject to a 4% processing fee. We have this policy in place to protect our employees and artists who are booked specifically for this event, and also other customers who might have had a chance to book if the seat was available. Please understand we are a small service based business and lots of planning and supplies go into making these classes possible. Please be aware this is one of the most generous cancellation and rescheduling policies in our industry, and please don't give our staff a hard time for adhering to it- they are just doing their job. Every precaution will be taken to ensure the best possible outcome for every firing. Use of the studio indicates you agree that you will not hold the studio, its volunteers, or any other person associated with the studio responsible for work that is damaged or defective in any way while in the studio at any stage of the process. Please note that all class pieces need to be picked up within 3 months of the class date. It takes an average of 3-4 weeks for pieces to move through the finishing & kiln firing process. You will be notified via email when your piece is ready to be picked up. If you don't hear from us, please give us a call to verify the status of your piece before coming in. After 3 months, pieces will be donated to make room on the studio shelves. While working with clay is relatively safe, there are hazards and risks. These risks include the possibility of injuries or illness related to the use of the studio, materials, or equipment. Use of the studio indicates you agree that you have been informed of the risks and have signed the Kilnfolk waiver.

Attention Students!
If you are signing up for a multi-week or workshop that includes open studio time please click below to create an account on our website. Be sure to use the email that you used to book your class. You then will be able to access the Open Studio Sign Up Page under Memberships. Each open studio session is just a start time and is good for up to 3 hours. Open studio time must be used in one day and cannot be split between multiple days. Multi-Week open studio sessions do not roll over and must be used in the week they are allotted.
