Embark on a paw-some artistic adventure at Kilnfolk with renowned local artist, Rocky Jaeger! Join us for a 1.5-hour workshop where artists of all skill levels can bring their imagination to life by hand-building a charming ceramic dog bursting with irresistible character. No previous experience required—just bring your enthusiasm and be prepared for a cuteness overload! Your instructor, Rocky Jaeger, finds joy in making whimsical, fun, and simple art that spreads happiness to others. Under his expert guidance, you will be lead step-by-step through the process of crafting your very own (not-so) furry friend. After the workshop, we will bisque fire your piece, as well as glaze the body to one color of your choice. Eyes and noses will be black surrounded by some bare clay, similar to what you see in the workshop photos. When you come to pick up your new companion, you will also receive a birth certificate! Workshop Details: -Multiple Dates & Times available: Saturday, March 16th at 9:30am and Saturday, March 23rd at 9:30am -Location: Kilnfolk Clay Studio, 108 W 6th Street, Vancouver, WA 98660 Metered street parking downtown, or secure parking is available right down the street in the Lot #18 Park 'n Go Vancouver Center Garage. Street parking is free after 6pm! -Price: $65 per person -What's Included: 1.5 hours of guided instruction, and one single color glazed and fired ceramic rock dog to be picked up a few weeks after the workshop. -Attire: Dress comfortably and be prepared to get your hands dirty! For a full refund, you must cancel your booking 7 days before your scheduled class/activity. If you need to reschedule within 7 days, we will charge a 20% fee, however there will be NO rescheduling for any reason within 48 hours of the class, and no refund will be offered. Any refund offered will be subject to a 3.7% processing fee. We have this policy in place to protect our employees and artists who are booked specifically for this event, and also other customers who might have had a chance to book if the seat was available. Please understand we are a small service based business and lots of planning and supplies go into making these classes possible. Please be aware this is one of the most generous cancellation and rescheduling policies in our industry, and please don't give our staff a hard time for adhering to it- they are just doing their job. If you are signing up for a multi-week or workshop that includes open studio time please click below to create an account on our website. Be sure to use the email that you used to book your class. You then will be able to access the Open Studio Sign Up Page under Memberships. Each open studio session is just a start time and is good for up to 3 hours. Open studio time must be used in one day and cannot be split between multiple days. Multi-Week open studio sessions do not roll over and must be used in the week they are allotted.
