Join us for the ultimate date night with an splash of competition. This is a two hour beginners wheel class where you and your partner or friend will learn the basics of wheel throwing! The instructor will guide you through the process of creating your very own pot, bowl or mug. And hey, if a little competition breaks out, you can count on your instructor to be the referee! :) The price includes: -Two people (the booking page shows 1 participant but disregard that! It is for two people.) -Two hour class taught by a talented ceramicist -Take home treat -Fancier trimming during post production When booking it will say 1 participant but the price of $195 is for two people. :) You will each get to take home one finished piece included in the price. If you make more that you want to keep it will be $10 per additional piece to trim, fire and glaze it to the color of your choosing. Your art will be ready to pick up within three weeks. The extra $10 is to be paid after class so you can decide if you want to keep your creation or leave the clay to be recycled. Dress Code: Wear something comfortable that you are willing to get dirty! Short skirts and dresses are not advised as you will have to sit with your legs around a wheel. :) Cancellation Policy: A refund will be issued if requested 7 days or more before the class begins. In the event of illness or other serious conflict we may allow the option to reschedule for a fee. We have this policy in place to protect our employees and artists who are booked specifically for this event. Please understand we are a small business and lots of planning and supplies go into making these classes possible. Use of the studio indicates you agree that you will not hold the studio, it’s volunteers, or any other person associated with the studio responsible for work that is damaged or defective in any way while in the studio at any stage of the process. While working with clay is relatively safe, there are hazards and risks. These risks include the possibility of injuries or illness related to the use of the studio, materials, or equipment. Use of the studio indicates you agree that you have been informed of the risks and have signed the Kilnfolk waiver.
For a full refund, you must cancel your booking within 7 days of your scheduled class/activity. We may offer rescheduling for a fee in certain circumstances.
